Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. 

I am so blessed & humbled. You have given me so much to be thankful for.
Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for loving me SO much, even when I am a brat. Thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you for suffering for me, for giving your life. But even more than that, thank you for being victorious. Thank you for the freedom, that only you bring. Ah. I could go on all night. My heart is overwhelmed with your peace & your love.

Thank you for my babysister. I would die without her. Literally. Plus, holiday's wouldn't be as fun if we couldn't cheat in card games together.
Thank you for my parents. Everything they work so hard for is for me. They give, give, give & don't ask for anything in return. Oh, and they make a legit Thanksgiving spread.
Thank you for my family. I'm so blessed that everyone is alive & healthy. Even though we would like to kill each other during the 4 hour long card game Grammie makes us play. Please tell Papa I said hi :)
Thank you for my friends. New and Old. I have such awesome friends. They are all truly a blessing that I could not live without. I am so thankful that they are a part of my life & that I am apart of theirs. Most of all, thank you for making them funny. They make life so enjoyable.
Thank you for warm clothes, a roof over my head, & food on the table. Such little things I take for granted. Food. Always eating it. Clothes. Always buying them. Home. Always making it messy. Fail. IF only I could remember how truly blessed I am..everyday. I'll be working on it.

Spin Class Instructor

Dear Spin Class Instructor,

Thank you for killing me today.

You made me realize how much I love working out..and how painful it is. This semester has consumed my life, and sweating like a man hasn't been on the top of my list. While I was spinning away with the babysister this little thought came creepin into my noggin. "Why don't YOU do this. You can totally do this. Sure, it wont be easy. You will have to train, train, & train some more. Ouch, my legs hurt. Stop telling me to increase the resistance. Okay so maybe you can't do this."

So next big mountain I'm climbing. Getting my personal training certification.
I need some words of encouragement...or ALOT.
Because, I'm already talking myself out of it.

So thank you spin class instructor lady. Even though I will eat my heart out tomorrow, I will see you again on Friday.

I am so thankful for you, for your family, for being my mom's best friend, for being my sister's "favorite", for standing so firm in your faith, for persevering. However, I am not thankful that you live in NY. No, not happy about that.

I look forward to all the future Austin-Frisbie adventures we will have. Seriously, I could talk alllll day about the memories. Most of them involve throwing up, or hot tub dermatitis. Yessss. What sweet, sweet memories.

Who are you thankful for today?

It was enchanting to meet you.

Dear you, 


For the first 30 days of this blog I will be writing about one person. One person, each day. Today. I will write about myself. (Selfish? Maybe.) 


Meagan Elizabeth Austin. 
Born: January 16th, 1990. Tulsa, OK

I've lived in the same house my whole life. It was a perfect house. Not too big & not too small. My dad was the absolute best at capturing every breath, burp, and temper tantrum on camera. We have "treasure" chests full of old photos.  Cabinets full of home videos. I love  that. When looking at all the old pics & videos our house always had a huge slide in the living room, or one of those child picnic tables in the kitchen. It was home. It is always nice to go home, even if I feel like I have to super glue my stereo system in my car because someone might jack it. I keep telling my parents that they need to move. But those childhood memories. My first word, first steps, first day of school,  first tear, first kiss, first heart break- all those memories are what that little house my home. 


My mom always tells me I was the perfect child. Okay, maybe not. But I was definitely better than my sister. I had a great childhood. We took many vacations. I really want to go rummage in those treasure chests to find pictures to put with this. Numerous vacations to Disney World...which I don't remember but there are pictures. Trips to Wyoming to see family. My parents said that was when traveling was easy. "Are we there yet" wasn't in our vocabulary. When do you learn that phrase anyways?


When I was 7 something life changing happened. See, I was just watching the normal Saturday morning TV. Except, I was watching a hyped up version of Christian telletubbies. At the end of the segment, they asked if I wanted to ask Jesus into my heart. So I found myself face down, little body sprawled out on the couch, praying with Mrs. Christian Telletubbie lady to ask Jesus into my heart. That moment changed my life. 


I was what you might call "an over-achiever" in school. I made the grades, played the sports, had the friends. It was nice, but it wasn't perfect. There was drama. Drama = high school. I did have some of the best times in that jail/bomb center of a high school. Also known as, East Central. My high school life consisted of: volleyball, grades, college applications, a boy, friends, church, doing really stupid things with the girls, being a tease, tennis, making rules, then breaking them, tears, tears, more tears, fights, break-ups, laughter, simplicity, and learning how to grow up. 

I miss this the most. 


All those memories in middle school & high school came crashing down in a single moment. My senior year my world came crashing down. But, don't worry. I survived. After graduation I attended the community college. Finished in a year. Wanted out of Tulsa. And here I am. A junior in college at Oklahoma State University. GO POKES! I will graduate next year with a Nutritional Science-Dietetics degree. After graduation I plan on getting my masters, getting married, finding a man, getting married, having billions of children, and flushing that college education down the drain to take care of those precious babies. But seriously.  I never imagined that I'd be where I am today, who I am today. Thank goodness, because I would have been selling myself short. Excited for this exciting journey. 


Throughout the next 30 days, you'll continue to learn a lot about me through other people. Which brings me to the name of my blog.

Yes, that is a line in a Taylor Swift song. 
Yes, I just love the word enchanting. It's magical. 
Yes, I would love to have an enchanted meeting with you.
